Im getting this error while trying to play the demo in SnowLinux (Debian Squeeze) based.

I tried on a different machine with Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit, and get the same error.
I just noticed, that the german translation was horrible bad.
So I went through the language file and made it better:

Maybe you can include it in a future release for german gamers out there.
I just noticed that if I include german Umlaute like ä,ö,ü or ß the game crashes sometimes. So I avoided them as good as I could.
I used the english language file now and it still crashes - so that wasn't the reason for that.
When I go to the Encyclopedia and click onto an item, its opened and I can read the text. But when I close it and click onto a second item the game crashes. Always on the second item.

About the crash, I'll look into it, I've submitted a Linux update some days ago, but it is still pending verification

It only crashes on Windows. I use Windows 7 x64 and Slackware 13.37 - on Slackware the Encyclopedia works fine, but not on Windows. Strange.
