I have fixed some issues that caused the game to stutter on some phones. I've been told that the game stuttered about every two seconds.
I've replaced the game-loop with more robust code. Hopefully this creates an overall better experience for everyone trying the game.
I've also completely redone the the code for drawing the snake. The animation now uses interpolation so that frames are dropped more gracefully. This makes variations in frame-rate hardly noticeable.
I've gotten some feedback saying that the animations are now smooth, but there are so many different devices so it is difficult to give a guarantee. Hopefully this is the final engine improvement before I add the next and last level.
