At one point it was peaceful in the jungle. Elegant furry cats roved the lush brush and had their fill of juicy mice and fish. This environment was a feline paradise that was nearly a utopia. That is, it was a utopia if you were a cat.All was not well in the jungle because the dogs wanted a piece of the action. While the cats ruled the jungle, the dogs had the grasslands and plains. The so-called Canine Plateau had been good to the dogs for a period of time. They could rove and romper around while slobbering all over the place.Of course this balance of power only worked so long as everyone stayed in the predetermined pecking order that prevented chaos from breaking out. Anyone who tried to buck the system, whether they are a cat or a dog, was struck down with fangs and claws before they could get too much power.That being said there was one canine that was bent on being the top dog. In a manner of speaking those who get others to fall in line could eventually be top dog by usurping whoever was in power and taking something for themselves. Therefore, it came to pass that the grizzled and snarling Rover became top dog.By scaring the other dogs into submission, Rover took the position of top dog and instead turned it into the office of a general. Now some people might suggest that a dog who is named Rover can’t possibly be all that bad. The name certainly doesn’t sound all that threatening. Then again, people and cats that talk like that usually get mauled. They might get off with a soiled carpet if they’re lucky. Three years ago the army of dogs initiated what they called Canine High Energy Warrior Top Operation Yoke. As the name might suggest, the C.H.E.W.T.O.Y. assault was designed to place the yoke of control and suppression on the nearby cats in the jungle. Naturally the cats and dogs had fought on and off in the past.

The old balance of power had made sure that these skirmishes never became full-scale conflicts, but fighting between cats and dogs is pretty much inevitable. To make matters worse, long before the plains had been sectioned off to the dogs, the cats had actually occupied most of that land as well. Some dogs claimed that they had pretty long memories, and bad memories involving the nearby cats had been one of the biggest reasons that General Rover rose to power.

He promised to restore the dogs to their natural place in the sun. Over the last three years they have pillaged the land and taken all of the cat’s money. With no way to buy important products like yarn balls or collars with bells on them, the cats have become ridiculously impoverished.

Ram Cat has vowed to save the day. He had enough of seeing his family and friends held back by the evil dogs. Against all odds, Ram Cat will have to fight General Rover’s evil armies. Indeed he will have to battle hundreds of grizzled dog soldiers single-highhandedly. Technically he will have to do it with his paws, though.

Being the only chance that the cats have to restore the freedom they once enjoyed Ram Cat will need to scale barbed wire fences. He will have to fight for justice and he won’t have anyone to help him out. He does, however, have one thing working for him.

His commanding officer Fishbreath told Ram Cat that the dogs have been scattering the cat civilization’s old treasures. Shiny coins dot the landscape. They will prove to be valuable pickups if Ram Cat can collect them instead of batting at them with his paws. After all that’s his natural inclination as a feline. He’ll have to fight that kind of urge just as hard as he’ll have to fight the evil dog armies.
