Particulars is a game with a unique combination of arcade-action and puzzle gameplay, set in the mysterious world of subatomic particles. Taking control of a single quark, you must negotiate the fundamental forces of the universe. Other particles will push and pull at you - you'll always be on the brink of losing control and being dragged towards annihilation! Woven through the game is the story of Alison, a young physicist with a troubled past. Her journey through the subatomic world is drenched in memories (both good and bad), and will ultimately lead her to some surprising revelations. Particulars is currently in the alpha stage of development. This means that the game is still being made and will be improved upon on a regular basis. Updates will add new features and content, as well as optimisation, bug fixes and polish. Please give us feedback and report bugs, and we will continue to improve the game for you!
Impressive game with fresh gameplay and storyline
More of an excersise in frustration than something the average player could devide much pleasure from. Seriously, the controls are amongst the most annoying I've known.
Aaahh, how good to get down to the nitty gritty at a molecular level. Particulars, thus far, has provided me with a place to go to meditate and relax while playing with the negative and positive forces of nature.
Everything about this game presents itself as a stylistic journey with an abstract storyline. Still in alpha, it develops as we go. Supporting pad controls, the graphics and audio in this game make for a heady, but minimal atmosphere. The particle trails themselves are enough to log in for a play. Some of the levels have beautiful lighting with different types of particles casting a different coloured glow.
The gameplay starts relatively slowly, but soon ramps up in the still developing second chapter. I look forward to see how far this idea can be pushed, presenting the end user with a complex challenge.

This is one of those few games That I am sure I will play for the rest of my life (JetPack, Doom, etc ...) this game gives such a fresh feeling and a unique gameplay
