OverLight is an addictive game with an unique concept using glass blocks and laser beams - you break the right blocks, lasers get redirected and intersect, overheat and explode the blocks for which you receive points. You can even chain the explosions into combos, but you must think fast, the clock is ticking! Your goal is old classic: Get as many points as possible. The game also contains various other features to enhance the gameplay and make it more rich and varied - special blocks, power-ups, power-downs (nasty pests!) and variety of levels in several game modes.

After a pause (sorry! I was quite busy with other work recently) OverLight is back on the track with updates. With the new version, you can try the Time Attack mode, which will challenge you to top your previous score in each one of the levels and hopefully make the game more interesting.
It also includes various tweaks and changes based on the feedback from you - the players. For example many people found the score text overlay quite annoying, so I changed it, so it's displayed only at the end of a combo. Or if you don't like the colorful background, you can now darken it or turn if off completely in the settings.
The new version is available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Android on Desura and on Google Play! Stay tuned for future updates!

Is this project dead or what ? 0.3.5 a for about one year ? Cmon!
I'm sorry, but unfortunately yes. There's not nearly enough interest in the game (I haven't even reached Desura payout amount, so I haven't got a single penny from the purchases) and support from players to continue the development, so I had to take up some other projects (paying job + some experiments) to generate some income.
It was my first attempt on an indie game and unfortunately it wasn't as good as I hoped and it failed. My main mistake was trying to alphafund it and release updates frequently, which I didn't manage to keep up when I got the paying job. Now I'm trying to finish the game fully before publishing it, frequent updates take a lot of time, which I don't have.
I hope I'll get to finish it somehow in the future if I get free time, but I can't make any promises.
Damn! That's a real shame, I was really looking forward to seeing how this game shaped up. :(

Thanks! I'm sorry for the sickness, I'm trying to tune the effects so they look both good, but don't make you feel uncomfortable, so I'll try to improve on that in new versions.
