A FREE puzzle game

Novae Marathon is one of the most interesting puzzle games that I've come across and I think I'll be keeping it both on my iPhone and iPad.

This game makes for a nice change which requires the user to deliberately slow down and plan ahead, which can be a nice respite from the busy, slapstick world we live in.
I'd recommend checking it out.

Drop & Remove

Novae Marathon is a match game: drop tiles to match criteria to remove tiles. Easy? Simple? No. As Novae Marathon have something more, one little thing that change everything: the attraction mechanism.

Tiles not only fall when dropped but are attracted by the Core, the center of the game. This attraction mechanism is inherited from accretion from black hole. Think as gravity in a rotational way.

Rules

Drop

Drop a given tile on one of the four direction. Tile is then attracted inward, toward the Core.

Tiles are attracted inward, toward the Core in a clockwise spiral until their progression is blocked: this is accretion.

  1. Tiles are always attracted inward, toward the Core
  2. Tiles change position only to get closer to the Core.

Remove

A group of same-coloured tiles is removed when it meets 2 criteria:

  1. group contains 4 or more same-coloured tiles
  2. at least one tile in the group is on an axis and in contact with the Core

One more thing

When a group is removed, remaining tiles get rearranged by the two laws of attraction, forming a new configuration.

When the reconfiguration spontaneously generates a new absorbable group, it in turn is absorbed by the Core, leading to a new reconfiguration.

A hard game

Novae Marathon have uncommon and innovative mechanics: so you have to understand it to enjoy the game. Once you're a master, or you think so, all your attention is required.

Play for FREE

Novae Marathon is FREE: free as gratis with no limitation.
There is a small ads at the bottom of the game and promo for other games from Domsware after Game Over.
