MATH HOLE! is a basic math-infused puzzle game designed for all ages! Simple addition puzzles start the game and give way to subtraction soon after. Up the ante, literally, by beating levels and acquiring new number ranges to puzzle with. With no timer, no pressure, the joy is exclusively in solving the puzzle! Play through hundreds of combination levels and finally enjoy infinite puzzling or start over again.

History

Math Hole is the result of a burning desire to make a math game that people would play. Said no one... until now! Both of us at MedfordApps had a math teacher at some point in our lives who personally made a difference in our ability to understand concepts and numbers. Unfortunately, not everyone gets that chance or connection... sometimes even when we were all in the same classroom!

We thought, perhaps ambitiously, why not make a math game that attempts to teach skills through puzzles and repetition, not memorization. Because the puzzles are generated, they're always changing, which keeps adults and students alike on their toes! And because it's a game that has little to do with "math class" it's a low-stakes way to increase exposure to numbers and basic concepts - that is to say, there is no risk of failure just fun or maybe a little frustration at worst.

So there it is! From the mouths of two former math students who are looking at numbers in a whole new way. We loved making Math Hole and we hope you have half as much fun playing it.
