A novel platformer that pits Cid, a humble jumping spider of the Phiddipus audax species, against a laboratory full of genetically and cybernetically enhanced bugs. Armed with your hydraulic legs, your silk dragline, and your trusty venomous fangs, you must jump, swing, and eat your way past your own arachnid brethren and other multi-legged monstrosities, all courtesy of Araknotek, Inc. The game will feature tight physics and an incredibly intuitive, minimalistic control scheme optimized for touchscreen devices (and mouse, if that's your thing).
The flies in Jumping Spider are an understandably nervous-looking bunch. You would be too if you were at the bottom of the food chain and many of your predators were genetically altered multi-legged monstrosities.
They'll serve as a staple food in the game, providing a small amount of health once the damage system is in place, but they spook easily and fly erratically, so the best way to catch them is with an accurate pounce from a distance.
