Oh boy, I can't even start to mention how Hyped I am to see Gamebooks coming back like this! I used to see my friends and read them back when I was a young boy, and when I was really starting to get into them and going to buy them, they simply ran out of circulation in my country. For many years I had been searching for a way to get them back or see any alternatives, and must say that with "Gamebook Adventures 1: An Assassin in Orlandes" I'm not disapointed. Having bought it just a few hours ago, and having a rundown on it... I already finished the game with 2 diferent endings, albeit bad ones, but not in the way of cheap or Insta deaths, which appeared sometimes in a few books in circulation a long time ago. I'm throughly enjoying every minute of it, and if you have a passing interest by reading, RPG's or if you are a classic, diehard fan of Gamebooks, then this game is for you. Looking forward for more releases!

These are awesome books on iOS and I am super excited about them being available on desktop too! If you grew up with choose your own adventure books like I did, this is a must buy. If you didn't grow up on them or don't know much about them, grab it.. you'll love it!

Very nice game! Reminds me of years long gone, when the gamebooks were a nice introduction into pen & paper RPGs. To summarize: fast and fun combat system, good idea with limited bookmarks (makes you think twice before using one) and compelling story with a twist. I admit that some combats could be difficult if you made wrong choices before. I am eagerly waiting for other books from the series as they are appearing faster on mobile platform. Only one question from me: when can we expect Temple of the Spider God, Judge Dredd: Countdown Sector 106, Fighting Fantasy: Blood of the Zombies and House of Hell? ;)

This game/book is beyond amazing. With the support for high, widescreen resolutions, awesome writing and intense soundtrack you really cannot go wrong. Numerous choices and other RPG elements, such as purchasing vital equipment, additionally increase the replay value. Well recommended!

The entire Gamebook Adventures series of games from TinMan Games is outstanding. Every book has been a pleasure for me on my iOS and Android based devices. Glad to also have these on my PC as well.

Great world and fun combat system. Lots of fun

Great book. Just finished it today, really well written. Surprisingly engaging story that really dragged me in.

It took me back to my childhood playing gamebooks, but it does not suffer from the common drawback of many gamebooks, the dreaded "one true path." It seems you can complete the book in a number of ways, giving greater replayability.

Highly recommend, I will check out the other titles in the series!

I've played throug (and beaten) this game, and I have to say, it was quite fun. The story was engaging, as were the multiple people and places along the way (some of whom I still haven't found, but plan to!). Finally reaching the end and defeating the game was a great feeling.

I really only have one suggestion, which is geared towards the game mechanics. While the ones in place work well enough, when rolling attack dice, it left me baffled when someone with one die could still hurt me while I had four or more backing me up. If you were going for enhanced difficulty, I suppose it works, but my suggestion would have been to line up all dice side to side. Each die after the first would go again their opposite respective die, and if it won, would add 1 to the primary, and deciding, die. If it went against no die, it would add a static +1 (or, on a 1 roll, not add anything, for a little more of a challenge).

I really just came up with this framework out of quasi-frustration at some points, to be perfectly honest, but I still loved the game, and rated it a 10 out of 10. What would be interesting is if you carried this story on, playing as the same character. I would be very much interested in that!

An excellent mix of a novel with the media elements of a computer game. Very readable and so far thoroughly enjoyable. Visuals and soundtrack gel with the excellently written story.

Highle enjoyable. I can't wait until the rest of their gamebooks come to PC.
