Description

Blue and Orange is a scrolling game in which you have to control two characters at once. By using the joysticks you will have to guide the blue and orange players to the end of the level surpassing the obstacles, collecting points and bonuses, surviving cannons, lasers and other dangers. Along the road you'll find powerups to help you overcome difficulties, and traverse hard paths. The points you collect will allow to buy more powerups and personalize the players with new skins.

History

Blue and Orange is the first game I have ever developed, it started quite as an hobby, with the idea of learning how game development, android and graphics work. It started as a small project and grew more and more until it became what it is now.

As it was first intended as a way to learn I developed everything from scratch without a game engine, using just what Android and OpenGL offer. Also musics and textures are self made, that's also interesting stuff to learn.

So it's a one-man job and so it took quite some time to get done. It wasn't developed continuously, quite the opposite, the development was interrupted countless times, mainly because of University exams. I think the development started more or less at the beginning of 2015.

As of the time I'm writing this it's almost ready, it should just need testing and feedback. So it's finally ready for the open beta. By the way: every early adopter will get the game Ad-free, forever!
