A work of art
An absolutely phenomenal remake of a timeless classic. Although, I'm not a fan of some of the changes made in the Definitive Edition update, but thanks to the BMS Classic mod I don't have to worry about those issues. Otherwise, the work on this really paid off and it shows.

Black Mesa misses a lot of the spirit of the original game and also a weird blend of HL2 puzzles with HL1 stuff. Some set pieces are beautiful but I feel like the art design and puzzles in the Xen levels is unclear and irritating.
