I have an outdated addon that i want to delete since there's an updated version already exists on another mod. But i don't see any option to delete it (only archive/edit/pin)

I don't understand, why can't I delete my own stuff?

Normally you should be able to archive and then (after refreshing) delete your download page.

I have the addon archived already, but still I can't see any option for deletion.

People must have the right to delete their own stuff regardless of the reason behind it. I hope it's just an issue of me not understanding how to delete things around.

I'll take a look, you should be able to delete it, we have always given our users tools to delete their content.

Hey Tronex I figured it out. The addon is linked to a mod. That mod is linked to the group Genies of the Zone of which you are a member. In that group you have not been given the permission to delete content. I'll code it so that if you are the submitter of the content, the group permissions do not overwrite your own so this doesn't occur.

wow, i wonder if this means that the administrators of the group have access to all of my addons? it's weird because this addon and many others are not even related to the mods released by the group itself.

Anyway, thx for your time. i will check it out later to see if i have the ability to delete my other stuff.

Also a finale question, just in case if what i said is true. Is it possible to separate my work (anything not related to the group's mods) from the said group?

As soon as you connect your content to a mod or game those administrators can moderate it.

One workaround is to access your addon via a URL without the mods URL in it. i.e. Moddb.com

You should be able to delete that for example

I've completed my investigation and decided not to change this functionality. It was implemented like this for a reason. Otherwise members can come in, add content - then be removed from groups and still be able to control and manage content they shouldn't be able too.

I think enabling this will cause more problems than it solves, and people can always reach out to us if they want content deleted.
