Any games like Ogre Battle? Thread

Hey guys, I'm looking for a good strategy game with a deep army building and troop movements with formations. Preferably not pay to win, or pay to advance time grind fests... Just looking for a good strategy game to enjoy.

The closest thing I can give an example of is Ogre Battle 64. You could create soldiers and add them to a unit with four other people, or two beasts, or a beast and two people, etc. These soldiers could evolve into Knights or Archers (male or female) and then on to other gender specific classes with unique abilities.

These units would then be deployed on a battlefield and sent into combat with similarly constructed enemy units, with flanking causing strategic advantages (archers up front, knights in back, etc).
