Pre-Omegatech
Player driven gameplay. Kyle first embarked on the journey to make video games professionally after decades of table top Game Mastering and a degree in Computer Science. Inspired by retelling sections of ancient history, he went forward to graduate from the SMU Guildhall Interactive Technology specializing in Level Design. Bioware's Star Wars the Old Republic enthralled his love of science fiction and story telling which became his first published work. After years of research he developed several strategies focusing on player driven gameplay. On the jogging trail with Janelle Culpepper debating the merits of actual player driven gameplay, the basis of Omegatech was born.

Megaworld Studios' First Game: Omegatech
During the writing of his Master's thesis, Kyle became acutely aware of player ownership of their gameplay and how each individual has their relative and different fun. Several researched prototypes and feedback lead to the development of the core concepts celebrating player autonomy and exploration. The Unity engine was choosen to fulfill the end goals of a multi-platform game initially launched for mobile media. From the growing Unity community Kyle choose various passionate diamonds-in-the-rough to complete the vision. Omegatech is scheduled to release its Alpha build to the community in 2nd quarter.
