Check out an overview of the Animation and Rigging Toolkit! This is the toolset Epic Games' lead technical animator Jeremy Ernst created for our own internal projects, and now Unreal Engine licensees and subscribers can have it too!

2 - Skeleton Creation

To start creating our character, we being with the skeleton creation phase.

After we've created our skeleton, we then need to place the joints in our mesh, or if you don't have a mesh, you can use the handy mannequin that comes loaded in with the joint mover rig!
