While the IndieDB page of HyperRogue was dead for two years, the development itself was very much alive!
HyperRogue now has:
- more than 50 lands, each with unique monsters, treasure, magical Orb power, and mechanics
- more modern look -- 3D graphics, sound effects
- tons of special modes which change the gameplay or display greatly, including the Orb Strategy Mode focusing on long-term resource management, and the real-time Shmup Mode
- and as always, the world is bigger than anything Euclidean!
HyperRogue, the non-Euclidean roguelike, is a mind-melting masterpiece (Rock Paper Shotgun)
