Hello, foxies :)

I wanted to share with you today some work that I’m gladly doing now. Which is animating the environment and making the locations more interactive. Here are some examples.

A bird flies to the location, preens its feathers, looks around and just stays on the tree. But if Leah comes closer, the bird will fly away immediately. It may come back soon and sit somewhere else, or even may start singing.

Or we can see someone’s shadow under the tree. When the character comes there, the hare will jump out from there scaring Leah. The same hare then can be spotted hiding in the bushes and eating something tasty, or running in the background on another location. You may even see someone’s ears sticking out among the flowers.

Sometimes there is a flock of birds or a herd of deer in the background. Some animations will be hard to miss since they will be a part of the story, others – not so easy to spot. But all of them are important to make the world feel alive and detailed, to help players immerse deeper into the game.
