Hi guys and girls!
I'm going to make a stand alone game, powered by the Unreal 4 engine.
I'm looking for two people who just love making games. You don't need 4 years of experience in the game industry or atleast 1 title launched, none of that crap. I just want two people who want to make something epic, and who are willing to learn new things along the way.
-I'm looking for one programmer, or atleast someone who is willing to dive into the Unreal 4 blueprint system. There is no rush, so you will get the time to watch tutorials and self educate you on whatever that has to be done.
-I'm looking for one 3d artist. You will need to have basic understanding of the pipeline that is involved into making a 3d model and getting it working in the Unreal 4 engine. You must be able to make decent lowpoly and a hipoly models, and you must know how to bake it and implement it into the Unreal 4 engine.
Both the programmer and the 3d artist need to be able to speak English.
This will be a non-paid position, but with intent to sell it on Steam when we have a working beta version. All the income we receive will be equally shared among the team.
A little bit about me:
I'm Joost van Kempen, I've been working professionally as a concept artist for games, commercials, music videos etc. for about 7 years now. My role in this project will be to deliver the concept art, work on the 3d assets with our 3d artist, and to have close communication with the programmer on the ideas we want to implement in the game.
A little bit about the game:
It will be a multiplayer sci-fi horror survival game, in an open world sandbox terrain. Nothing is set in stone, and everyone has the freedom to come up with their own ideas and designs aslong as they follow the basic guidelines of the actual project.
