Small team making 3d RPG game, this is being done as a work of passion at the moment- meaning no one is being compensated. We are working toward a playable demo to present for funding. Plans are in order for what is needed and if funding is successful then anyone on the project will have a guaranteed paid position working to finish the game.
We need 3d assets made and concept art is available. Animation is also needed for said models.
This is simply a demo to present for funding and most of the presentation will be concept art but a playable demo featuring major mechanics is planned.
Basic information about theme and art style:
Game world is going to mainly consist of floating land masses in a large blue sky setting. The architecture and general feel will be European fantasy and involve swords, magic, monsters, etc.
The art style we are currently using focuses on simple models whos emphasis is on components rather than minor details, such as a knights sword and shield feeling weighty and real rather than finely detailed down to every scratch, line, and rust spec etc. We want a game thats easy on the eyes and easy on the engine.
