Hello, my name is Michael. I am the lead on a project me and a few others are working on currently.
We are trying to make a small online RPG and are in need of a programmer familiar with Unreal and a texture artist to assist in the art pipeline.
We are all currently working on this for free and hoping to make a fun game. Once its functional enough we want to let people try it- and if it is as fun as we believe it will be we hope to make it into something real and make real money.
But for now we just want to focus on making a good, fun game.
The general idea is a medieval fantasy setting with general RPG progression, but the way the game world works in general is unique and so is our designed combat system. Combat will be based on a unique Guard mechanic, while the game world runs like an RTS. I wouldn't consider it themepark OR sandbox. We may be looking specifically for an unreal familiar programmer and a texture artist, but that doesnt mean we aren't open to anyone interested. Currently we have a lore writer, concept artists/digital artist, and a modeler, and a programmer. We are always open to have enthusiastic and positive memebers join our effort whether its for portfolio work or just as hobby. We keep a very friendly group and communication is constant.
