We are seeking an experienced server-side engineer to implement the backend architecture for our new mobile game.
Position is short term contract work (3-4 months) with possible long-term options. Pay DOE.
We are in the Orange County CA area but will consider remote locations in the U.S. while working from home. This job is full-time but we will consider part-time.

Objectives:
- Implement scalable backend architecture for cross-platform mobile game supporting IOS, Android, Mac OS, and Windows.
- Identify and Implement best cross-platform framework plug-ins for Login, Leaderboard, Achievements, Friends, In-app purchases, Multiplayer Real Time Support, Chat, and Mobile Push Notification for a Unity 3D RTS style game.
- The framework will also be able to support load-balancing, server analytics.

Requirements:
- Working knowledge of backend technologies (databases, backend architecture methodology).
- Knowledge of multiplayer networking and optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting.
- Mobile development experience with a focus on IOS and Android
- Game industry experience.
