Smloop is a game where humanoid ants(figurine sized) run around, craft makeshift weapons, build bases, and eventually kill each other. The setting of the game is in a destroyed nuclear town, similar to Chernobyl and other radioactive disaster, it adds a stylized element to the game that we can work with. The outskirts of the nuclear facility are where we plan on spawning the player with the inner parts of the map in mind for better materials to be salvaged and harder AI. That is the gist of the game, but along with development we do post monthly road maps, have weekly Skype calls, and coordinate the majority of development on Slack. To sync the files of the game across every member of the team, we use git based version control (Source Tree). Our engine is Unity 5, and we do intend on focusing on procedural animation to save time and create in general better animation.

We welcome new members and are happy to debate on features to add. Smloop is a long term project( in its early stages), meaning we want to make the game look polished and not rush the development. Currently we have done the player model, finished the multi-slot inventory and made first person weapons and arms as well as some environmental assets. If you are proficient in modeling, texturing, and/or animating(or others) we are eager to work with you. Here are the present members in the team( we are all relatively young, in the age group of 16-18).

Oliver: Asset Creator, Modeler
Faizan: C# Programmer
Nick: Animator and Modeler

The Gameplay of Smloop is skill based with combat cognitive focused instead of splitting players into leveling groups or making it pay to win. To do this we are planning on adding a reloading state system similar to Reciever's gun play as well as make the bullet patterns able to be memorized. Our Inventory is unique in many ways and is designed to be quick and easy to navigate, we use a attachment based system and a radial menu to navigate and deposit the items you pickup. Below are some images(Gameplay is not compiled yet) .

The Profit of the game is revenue share based(you get what you put in), but we believe that should not motivate you. I know that sounds deceitful, but all our developers have put ample amount of work into Smloop because they genuinely like shaping the game and seeing it materialize. If anybody has any questions about Smloop, please comment.
