2D Artists for Characters and Backgrounds job

Hey all,

We're currently looking for artists of various shapes and sizes for a point and click 2D horror game, in the same vein as Clocktower. The game is a slasher/mystery heavily inspired by Giallo films from the 70s and 80s (Suspira, Inferno, Deep Red, etc.), but is a little more light hearted/campy with some humor mixed in.

At the moment, it's myself and a programmer, and we're primarily looking for artists to do backgrounds, characters, fonts, etc. We have a Proof of Concept with some placeholder artwork, and our short term goal is to refine the first scene/level into a working demo that we can then use to get crowdfunding.

We really are only seeking help to complete this first level, so if you are interested but are unsure about committing long-term, that's totally cool. And if you ARE looking for a long-term project than we'd love to have you on board!

Please leave a comment below or PM me with any inquiries; we'll probably ask to see some examples of your artwork first before we send you back our working game and artwork, and we're open to inexperienced artists with limited portfolios as well.
