My brother and I are creating a sidescroller game and we are NOT artists. He is pretty good at using Gimp, and has created a few assets like some cartoony mountains, trees, the main character, etc. but he isn't the fastest. I am trying to learn to use Adobe Illustrator, but if we are relying on the two of us to draw this whole game, it's going to take 5 years. That's where you come in.
Looking for:
- 2D graphic artist who wants to work for free to get their name out there and build a resume.
- You would need to be able to match the style of our game.
- Style of the game looks... fairly simple and cartoony, almost like anime.
- You'd need to assist in drawing every frame of every character, creature, and environment in the game so... the faster the better. haha
Our game is an RPG sidescroller about a little wizard, and we think it's going to be good. As well as innovative.
P.S. If we ever make money off of this game, you'll obviously get a sizable cut. We can discuss the details if you agree to help.
