Inviting all members to discuss social media marketing and how to get fans and followers on these sites. Simply releasing our awesome games is not enough, huge effort is required in order to make our game visible to the public.

I am myself fairly new to this concept but trying really hard to understand. I am posting my experience starting from game development to my journey to marketing, lesson learned. Lets share our views and together make our dreams successful.

My articles can be read in this web site here:

Or my web site here:

Good luck to all.

Hey, everyone! I'm trying to take part more in the IndieDB community, so I just wanted to take a moment to say, "Hi." My name's Eric, and I'm the producer & community manager for PolyKnight Games. Social media is a big part of my job, and while I'm by no means an expert, I'd love to connect with fellow indie marketers and developers to share ideas.

We're currently developing a game called InnerSpace, which you can check out here on IndieDB. We're also active on Twitter, if you want to connect and be internet friends.

This is really a good concept for a group as you are so right about social marketing will either make or break your launch. You really need that social media support. Looking forward to what you have to offer here.
