I remember when i used blender, was huge fun even tho i knew only how to make a house lol

If i use unity in my future project, i hope i can find some skilled users in this group that knows how to make some cool characters in blender!

Nice group and nice to see Blender users here
I'm not a Blender user because i settled for 3ds Max but i did try Blender several times and the only thing that is left to complain about is my sole lack of understanding and skills in it

I just could not get into Blender due of the Linux code is based on but setting me aside , the program is great with so many things to do there and everything needed built right in the program

I will give it more tries but is as if , at least for me , it requires a different mindset and understanding to be able to work with it
I didn't even reach the materials part that i bet is great too
Judging by what i found online about what good people in it manage to achieve , it must be a great tool for the people that are gifted to work with it

Hey, is there anyone that can give me direction with texturing objects in Blender?
I'd like to know what's the best way to texture something for a game. I mean objects like buildings - objects that can't use UV maps (or can they?). I need repeating textures on such large objects and I'm not sure how to texture an object like that for a game engine.

Any help is appreciated.

Large Buildings can use UV maps, but painting them can be a pain.
It's a lot easier to use procedural texturing and materials to add detail to buildings. It can also alleviate performance issues in-game, allowing batching and other nifty things.
