An entire city blown apart by a single weapon has left our nation gripped with fear. With Marshal Law in place those that are most afraid are offered homes within Government care. A year later humans with strange and various abilities start to reveal themselves. These people are known as Variants and they are segregated from society with no knowledge of the outside world. You are a Variant, with the ability to read minds of those you come into eye contact with. After 4 years of being held at Variant Outpost 12 others have planned an escape. For whatever reason you join them but can you trust them?
