Twin Moon Galaxy is a turn-based sci-fi RPG in development by Timbro Studios for Windows, Mac, Android & iOS. There is currently no planned release date, so follow us here or on social media to get the latest news as development progresses.
Journey through laboratories, starships, outer space minings stations and ancient alien ruins as you follow the story of Maia, a young woman who awakens with strange abilities. Discover the origins of her powers and the mysteries of space as you experience the world of Twin Moon Galaxy.
In 2118, mankind developed the technology of interstellar travel. Following this discovery, missions were planned to explore Alpha Centauri, the nearest solar system. Over the next several decades, a mining station was built on Tehum, the moon of a planet in Alpha Centauri which is habitable. 60 years later, starships routinely travel between Earth and Tehum.
Twin Moon Galaxy has been in development since June 2015. A prologue will be released for free in a few months and the full game is planned for 2018.
Timbro Studios is pleased to announce that the first chapter of Twin Moon Galaxy will be released on October 1st, 2017 as a free demo. Furthermore, we will be launching a Kickstarter campaign on the same day. The funds from the campaign will be used to finalize the development of the full game.
Titled "Twin Moon Galaxy: Prologue", the first chapter of the game follows the story of Maia, a young woman who awakens with strange abilities. Journey through a space laboratory as you discover the origins of her powers.
For the past two months, we have put all of our efforts on completing the first chapter. Progress went well and the chapter is already fully playable. Over the next month we will be testing the chapter to ensure all bugs are fixed.
With the completion of the first chapter, we’ve also moved on to preparing the graphics and maps for the rest of the game. Over the next few months, we will begin showing screenshots and clips from the next chapters of Twin Moon Galaxy.
We are still working on the details for our Kickstarter campaign. The funds will mainly go to contract artists, musicians and animators to help finalize the development of the game. We believe that these contracts will help us finalize the game faster and will make the game even better than it already is.
However, part of the funds will also go to add an aspect to the game that currently doesn’t exist, and that is voice acting. Currently, when characters speak the game only displays text. We have started looking for voice actors so that we can make events in the game even better by adding voices to our characters.
Thank you to everyone who has been following the development of Twin Moon Galaxy. We will be posting a new update on October 1st when the demo and Kickstarter are available. In the meantime, be sure to follow us on social media to stay up to date as we continue to develop the game.
