CAN YOU SEE IT? In the first game of The Working Parts, a lone frog descends into the depths of a flooded forest, not yet knowing the full extent of its tragedy. To survive in a brutal, oxygen-obsessed ecosystem, you must help it see the patterns and hidden truths that make up the system - horrible as they may be. Kotaku says: "They Breathe is proof that you don't need realistic graphics or complicated gameplay to tell a horrifying story." Currently on STEAM GREENLIGHT Please vote for They Breathe if you like it!
Just a short heads-up that we've finally set up They Breathe's very own Greenlight page.

We've also got our magnum opus, Residue, up on Greenlight. It's a more ambitious title that you may want to check out: Steamcommunity.com

Is there any particular reward for saving all the frogs? I saved some of them, others ended up being jellyfish bait. All I got is that you meet all the frogs you rescued at the surface upon finishing the game. Is there more to it if you save ALL of them?

How to run it in a window?
Can´t run the demo. The screen goes black and then dumps me back to desktop. Any suggestions?
This game was extremly confusing right out of the gate, I had no idea what to do. There is no ibdicator about how much air you have, so the only way to know is to know which sounds mean you are running low (again, something you have to figure out). The graphics are huge on screen. So even though the main point of this game is to avoid things, you are barely given any room to do that avoiding.
But the biggest negative about this game is the frustration. For example, there is a wave of 6 or so Jellyfish that take up pretty much the entire screen giving you barely any room to avoid them. Bubbles are random, so it was pure luck if you could get them over bubbles while keeping your own (unknown) air supply up. They kept catching me and I had to be lucky for there to be a bubble near by. After about 7-8 attempts at this I got so frustrated I deleted the game.
A good game should NEVER make the player frustrated. Frustration is not a fun game mechanic for most people, and I'm not sure why developers keep implementing that in the name of "challenge". There are a few people who have to be frustrated to feel like the game is challenging, but I'm not one of those.
I hope you guys do well, but this is a nitch game and it isn't for me, sorry.
I haven't played this game but...
OMG that's WHOLE 7 attempts!
I really think that you should be open and say that you like spoon-feeding. I think no one will laugh... a lot :P
For some reason the size of the game window doesn't fit my screen.
The whole bottom of the game is missing after I started to play.
There are also no options to change that.
Some advice?
Found a way by myself, I changed the game to wondowed mode.
This game is actually a lot of fun, so I created a Youtube Video about it.
This game have plentiful narrative without single text line. I like it.
I thought this was really creepy, I mean at first I didn't expect it to be, and when the creatures came I was like *shrug* isn't that bad.. but.. when I found out what makes the creature I was a bit horrified for a bit. Yes the game is a bit confusing at first, but it's not a lot to take in and confuse you. The creatures don't like air, so if they hit too many air bubbles facing you they will die. The "cow form" as people seem to call it will be made stronger by the air bubble (If you think about it, that makes sense) and so will charge at you. But since those rely on the head section it eventually will run out of air. My one complaint is figuring what to do at the end, you really should have some notification, or an example that happens because I just kept killing the creatures until I thought "I need to do something else don't I?"
