The little blue figures represent the different quest types (Loot, Hunt, Exploration, Gathering). You can choose a target, a location and a reward by clicking on the bestiary, the worldmap or the inventory list. Taking a look in your notebook might give you a hint on what quest objectives would make sense. Whatever you choose will be written down on the quest page and depicted with little figures on the parchment. Eventually a random name will be generated for the quest according to your chosen options. Or you can choose to name the quest yourself.
