Although the initial release of the game was only 4 days ago, I just couldn't stop working on it. Today marks the release of the first update to Starling Fall, version 1.1. The main incentive for the update was to fix the behavior where upon returning to the title screen from somewhere else, the game would log you in again. This is a sometimes-time-consuming process that should really only be done once, right when you open the game. This is how it behaves now. Hooray!
While I was at it, I also decided to give the game a little splash of color. There is now a horizon glow behind the mountains, and it changes color based on how high your score is:
