So I finally decided to take the plunge and develop custom 'larger' character sprites for the game! I wanted to move away from the default 'chibi' sprites and felt this was the perfect solution to achieve more detail as well as enhanced emotion through this style of character sprite. There's a lot of work ahead to overhaul every NPC and party characters I have already created but I think it'll be well worth it.
So I've attached a screenshot of the save screen to give you a comparison look between the 'old' (File 6: above) and the 'new' (File 7: below) character styles. Let me know what you guys think!
