Roller Derby Dash mixes non-stop racing action with a dose of strategy and, of course, Roller Derby! Score points by passing your opponents and controlling your team to block, hip-check and whip you forwards. Watch out for the other jammer, don't let her lap you! It's almost, but not quite, as exciting as the real thing!
The background was kind of bland, so I thought to spice it up a bit by moving vertically (as well as horizontally) in relation to the player. I was also going to move the entire scene (i.e. moving the camera). But I noticed that just moving the background without moving the characters produced this neat tilt-shift like effect.
