Retry? is a fast paced retro inspired twitch shooter!
Play Retry? single player; and aim for the top of the leaderboards by destroying an onslaught of enemies.
Use a simple and original control mechanic that combines movement with firing to rack up kills and combos. In the current build players can battle endlessly through waves of enemies, comprised of five enemy types some of which require upgrades to the players ship to defeat, and set a high score locally to their machine. Are you ready to Retry?
Team17 Jams are short projects. They're experiments in gameplay that are turned around in 5 days by a small agile team and as such stay in active development after release. We welcome all comments and suggestions as all Team17 Jams released will be supported with updates and build on community feedback and suggestions. We currently support Windows, Mac and Linux with these Jams.
Attending game expos is great exposure for indies, we were lucky enough to check some out at the EGX Rezzed & London Expo's.

I made a review of this game here Youtube.com
Great video! Thanks for playing :)
Awesome ! I made a video about Youtube.com
And an article on mokey king studio's website ;)
Well done dudes.
That's great Sikarak! Can't wait to check them both out. Thanks for playing!
Team17!? That's all I need to hear! Downloading now... :)
Cool graphics and interesting concept!
Unfortunately, I couldn't get my joystick to work (not sure if that's supported), in full screen mode I couldn't figure out how to quit (ended up alt-tabbing out and closing from the task bar), and the rotation was a bit too fast for me to be able to really get going (although that may just indicate that I suck :).
Thanks for your feedback!
I'm sure an 'exit' button will make its way into the game in a future update. Full screen mode was a rather late feature :)
The aiming does take some getting used to but when you get to the later waves (especially waves 7+) the fast aiming become essential to surviving.
Thanks for playing!
looks very nice
Thanks, I hope you give it a try and let us know what you think or what can be added :)
Thank you, can't wait to see it.
