Luna Shattered Hearts Ep1 is now entering its Pre-Beta stage. Episode 1, Episode 2, and Episode 3 and will eventually be combined to create the Luna Omnibus and will at that stage be a full length RPG. Right now Luna is being released in an episodic format. Since the Kickstarter voice tallents like Matt Morea (www.hearmatt.com/ ), Kimberley Anne Campbell (Hear.kim ), and Music and SFX composer Philipp (Phrostylicious-productions.com ) have been added to Luna. The game will be released for free on www.gillisgames.com in a limited 800x600 resolution. Players will be able to
purchase a standalone ‘full screen' version that has the added benefit of no load time and higher visuals. We hope to offer this option directly on Steam. When I started working on Luna I decided that I was going to do something unique. I was going to make a retro game that used entirely hand-drawn backgrounds while still keeping the levels big where you can scroll around in them. I found that the world was amazing to explore. In nature you don't see straight lines or 45 degree slopes like in a Mario game. In Luna the user sees a truly unique world that they can explore. The combat in Luna is intense, and meant to make it feel more lively. We appreciate any support you can offer for the Greenlight. Thank you.
Elements of Luna
Synthesizing Items: You will have to explore, collect, and experiment within the world to make key items that will help you progress through the world of Luna. Once you find a recipe
synthesizing items becomes a snap, and you can synthesize items like arrows to save yourself the cost of buying them from the store.
Managing your inventory: You will be able to examine the details about each item inside your inventory. Some items are trophy items and are more valuable. You can examine recipes, and orienteer with your map, once discovered. All in an intuitive, and simple way.
Buying and selling items:
You'll be able to purchase many items from a shop, but not all items needed to complete the game can be purchased. Some items are dropped only by enemies. Some items, like Beans can
enhance your jump, speed, or defense for a short amount of time.

It has been a busy week for Luna! I launched the official Pre-Beta, did a press release, Launched a Greenlight Campaign, Launched a Desura Campaign, and am in the process of trying to get Luna into a few Bundle packs!
Last year I launched a Kickstarter campain and it was not successful. I kept working on Luna at night and finally got Episode 1 competed. There is still work to do to get Release ready and I plan on keeping everyone updated with news right here on indiedb. Indiddb offers a nice structure for news, video, images and art.
More to come soon.
Thanks,
-Dan
