GUI Overview

We can fairly understand how Little Demon works with an overview of its new GUI.

In the prototype, lots of numbers were floating around the screen, as the player had to manage a lot of information about the state of the demon. Also, there were many more buttons than now. This time we keep it simple. In the screen, the player will see what is needed, and will manage his demon through 6 buttons.

1. Customize: Here you can change the look of your demon and your room. You can choose between a variety of hairs, tattoos, lights, wallpapers and grounds that will be unlocked and bought as you progress through the game. This things, though, will only modify aesthetic aspects.

2. Evolutions: Here you can overview your demon's evolution tree. It's divided in four parts as are things it will change : arms, legs, ears/horns and wings. Each evolution will grant you different skills and will guide the progress of the little demon. In what evolves each part will depend in a variety of things such as your skill in battle and taking care of the demon.

4. Messages: Here you can open new messages that may send you some characters. The story of the game will be revealed through this messages.

5. Statistics: Here you can see everything about your demon, as its happiness or its age. You may count on this to know where you should accept requests of your little friend (such as food).

6.Options: Here you can silence the game, or manually save the game (although it will be periodically saved).
