A randomized sandbox town building game. Start with 5 random but happy people in the middle of nowhere and build a great thriving town. Cut wood, and dig for stone, fish and forage for food to keep your villagers from going hungry. Plant gardens and build mines for long term production of resources. More villagers will come! Build houses, to keep them from the cold! Beware of riots, out of control fires, werewolves who are villagers by day, bandits who steal your food, and a number of other soon to be planned catastrophes...... This is a short simple 2D town building sim that requires no fancy hardware, and can play on netbooks, and even androids! (note: Love is required to play on the android)

The latest release has 4 selectable biomes, visiting merchants, working Nightwolves, werewolves, Game Over conditions and a list of achievements! There are now more resource types for different areas. Smelting and blacksmithing now produces weapons, tools, and treasures.

Got 2 dollars? support my game by purchasing it on indiegamestand.

I've been working hard to fix all of the bugs and add lots of features.

Some other new stuff to note:

You can now have a militia captain that is controllable by selecting with the left click and directing with the right click.

Hunters have a very LOW chance of bagging a nightwolf

Researching up through level 3 in each category should unlock various new buildings and tech.

Watchtowers provide a less dangerous light source at night, and single out dangerous wildlife.

indiegamestand is dead, and never got paid for the sales i made. IT's free on the amazon app store and a few bucks on the play store. Although it plays on phones, most people found it easier to use on tablets and PCs. I have not updated it in a while, but the source and assets are freely available on my public github. The last updates added new characters, and structures, and made the buttons bigger to accommodate phone users.

github / xmorg

part of the problem is the engine "Love2D". Although fun to work with, the engine updates are so incompatible with the previous versions that whole sections of the game would have to be redesigned.
