It was a great development month. The source code grew above 11000 lines and I made several structural changes which unfortunately brought to wipe out previous savegames :( It's the release no.101 and the game reached 35.000 total downloads, 12000 active installs and 2500 daily users so far. Not bad :D Many of you guys, asked me to continue to add more features and I will try to accomplish as many requests as possible. But let's start with the latest changes:

◉ Polls

The polls functionality changed dramatically and now they are used to question people on issues. The player will than know if the citizens want the next president to be young or mature with experience.

◉ Presidential election

Finally, Usa and France will have their citizens elect directly their president. My aim is still to invest time to make every country more unique to play.

◉ Spain

The long promised Spain is here. I also introduced a new constitutinal law called "Monarchy" which will alter gameplay for those constitutional monarchies. The next country I would like to be chosen by players on facebook page.

◉ Languages

An outstanding applause to all volounteers who translated the game in their native languages. There are now 7 languages and french is on way as 8th language.

More changes are, as always, listed in the complete changelog. I still need to figure out the best way to add coalitions between parties and to make relations a key role to rule your country. My near future plans include:

  • Coalitions between parties
  • New constitutional laws such as "European Union" and extraordinary taxes
  • New parties and ideologies need to be born during game
  • More powers to president

I am already at work on 0.9.76 :)

Stay tuned and have a nice day guys!

When will the game be available for iOS? It looks fun but as of this moment I can't play it on my device...

Unfortunately it won't be available on IOS soon :( Players asked me to make the game grow and even don't know when it will be released on Android. The main issue is that I need to buy a mac and iphone to test and deploy.

How to use the sandbox? When i start a game the money is set to no sum and then the game ends

Hi, did you update to latest version 0.9.74?

A cabinet would be cool. Also, more executive powers other than funding research and stealing your country's money for your party

I am aware that the powers of president need to be expanded. Every nation could give different powers to president. Well, we'll see :)

Me too, I hope this game grows and develevops, like coalitions, more research possibilities and laws, and more different parties... But, really, thank you for this game. You are doing a great job!

As an additive idea (yeah, it's me, this guest): It would be great if you could change from democracy to other kinds of states. Maybe you also could add local elections? But please, these are only ideas and you don't have to program them tomorrow. If you think they are good, take the time you need, I am patient... :)

Thank you very much for your support and suggestion. Coalitions will definitely come, as well as more countries, researches and laws. Martial law could be interesting to mess up the country a bit :D

Hi, I'm an indie dev. I just bought your game and there is some things I don't understand. I play French PS in the first difficulty and I'm stuck at 12% I can't go further. And I think for the difficulty 1, it's bad for the player to lose after like 60 month. I find too that the law are really promoting the national party. When I chose some democratics laws, they all cost money. You can't win with democratics laws
