History

It all began way back in 2011 when Semyon started experiments with XNA and Windows Phone platform. He wanted to create a game that brings the spirit of 80s/90s hardcore gaming to mobile platforms but fully utilizes features of modern mobile devices in terms of UX. During the discussions with friends about future game’s background it was mentioned that the game market is bloated with games about killing zombies and there are no games where you should protect zombies’ graveyard from angry mobs, self-righteous paladins, zealous clerics and other nasty people. That’s how Graveyard March was born. Being a pet project it was ported on Android and iOS at the end of 2011. The real work started at the fall of 2013 when Alexander joined the game as an artist. With his high-detailed pixel art the game gained an atmosphere of classic platformers like Ghosts’n Goblins and Castlevania in all their glory.

Now we’re in the process of preparing the game for an early access release carefully polishing it and searching for the right soundtrack.
