Four: The Space Fight is a carefully crafter space shooter with a nice unique atmosphere, and a different approach to the genre. In fact it's more like a fast paced demolition derby set in space. Divided into two different experiences it offers both single- and multi-player fun for hours.
In the game you can choose to fly one of the four Space Fighters, and your goal is to destroy the enemy Space Fighters within 1 minute, or the meteor storm comes and wipes away everybody. As an interesting extra feature, you can also fly backwards, but fire bullets towards the front of your ship. There's a second weapon, missiles, that do more damage, but also has a toll on your own shield as well. Each ship has a 9 segment shield.
In multi-player mode up to four people can play against each other on a single iPad. Just imagine 8 fingers tapping the same screen, if for nothing else, it's already funny. In single player career mode, you need to perform 16 different figures or objectives that are divided into four progressively difficult levels. These usually involve defeating the AI enemy in some funny way, and can get really hard towards the end.
There are 2 add-ons you can purchase in-game. One for both single- and multi-player modes respectively, that spice up the game. They also serve a way to support the development if you like the game.
Already available as a FREE download on the App Store for iPad, but I'm heavily working on adding more content and functionality. It does not contain any Ads!

With version 1.2.2 out I finally think the controls are good enough for beginners, and expert Space Fighters as well. So I'm back to work on version 1.3, which will feature a new game mode for both single and multi-player modes. It will be an endless shooter mode with an end ;) You'll have 1 minute to shoot as many evil alien drones, as you can. You'll have to fight one at a time, but the drones will respawn as soon as they die. There's going to be a heroic single player mode as well, where you need to deal with 2 drones at a time.
Of course after 1 minute the meteor storm will come and wipe everything out as usual. The multiplayer version of this game mode will be a co-op game, where the players will fight against a matching number of alien drones! I'm also going to implement a new scoring mechanism for them with Game Center leaderboards. Hopefully this will be out for Christmas, so you can play together with family members! I'm planning to further enhance the game with boss fights in the version afterwards, so stay tuned!

Hey, thanks for the feedback. I'm working on adding a new game mode. Kind of and endless shooter mode, with an end after 1 minute. So it's like who can shoot the most in a minute. Then in future versions I will include bosses in this type of game and raise the one minute limit. And after that I plan to spice up the multiplayer mode with different power-ups. So there's more to come, and hopefully it will evolve into something, that people will come back and play more often.
I would probably put in more game modes or enemy types. Maybe a maze to navigate or have random points to hold like a king of the hill mode. I can see this game appealing to a family with 2-4 kids and having the parents throw them the iPad while camping/waiting in line. Sustainability in this type of game is hard since it needs more content and variety. I found the challenges get old pretty quickly. You could also probably make money by selling different weapon pickups or backgrounds.
This game is a ton of fun. I really like that you can choose from 4 different control types. Definitely a must for anyone who has siblings or friends and only 1 iPad.
