After my first attempt, it looks a little blocky, so some revisions later and I now have the lighting looking like this:
A couple of things have changed here:
- the lights now work with the right level of drop-off like a street light should
- the lamp posts are dark too now and respond correctly to the light
- the car also responds to the light, and has headlights!
The problem with the lighting setup is the cost - i’ve yet to see how this play on a mobile device - it’s quite intensive and costly, so that’s where i’m heading next!
