In celebration of next week's Game Developer's Conference, we're introducing a few a few new things that will give you insight into our process for creating DMT. These will include some new rewards for our Kickstarter campaign, new music from the game, and our new Twitch Dev Show!
First, we'd like to introduce you to the Pie For Breakfast Twitch channel and the new PFB Game Dev Show: Twitch.tv Mondays at 7pm EST, a member of the DMT team will live stream their work on the game and introduce new features - you never know what we'll reveal on the show! Whether you're just a gamer, a casual fan, or a developer yourself, we will show you our tools and techniques for making the game!
Next, we just received the DMT main theme from our very talented composer, Akash Thakkar, whose credits include Ironclad Tactics, City Quest, and Heart Machine's Hyper Light Drifter. Check it out:
Lastly, we'd like to tell you about our new reward tiers on the Kickstarter page focused around showing you parts of our dev process:
- We are offering limited numbers of digital art books and soundtracks in 2 new $25 tiers: Artsy Zombie and Musician Zombie. These will net you ALL of the digital content available at the $20 tier plus either an art book or soundtrack
- At the $40 tier you can download a survival bunker's worth of digital content by getting BOTH the art book and soundtrack, along with the other digital content at the $20 tier.
- We've also added a new $150 tier that nets you physical copies of the art book and the soundtrack signed by members of the development team, along with a backer t-shirt, stickers, and an HD wallpaper.
