D. The Atom Shifter is an action RPG where you literally have the ability to customize your character at will! The human race is being annihilated and to try to prevent complete obliteration a great wizard created D. who can shift his atoms at will and absorb the atoms of other beings into himself to give himself even more power. The game is going to be a single player action RPG with swords, magic and horror elements!
Features:
- Developed by the Project Lead of the popular and action packed Doom 3 Mod Last Man Standing and the Free Game Maker Platinum Arts Sandbox
- An Action RPG that you play how you want! You can fully customize D.’s stats at any time during the game, even during battle!
- Absorb abilities from your enemies-Non Linear Exploration
- Lots of magic items, weapons and spells to find!- Shifting/Morphing Self
- (Hopefully) Wave Mode where you see how long you can survive vs varying waves of monsters!
- Dev tools released to the community to be able to make mods and FULL COMMERCIAL GAMES! Full Source might possibly be released as well.

I can't put into words how excited I am to be writing this to all of you. You might be wondering, why am I writing to you after all this time?
The thing is that the last official release of Sandbox was over 10 years ago and people are still e-mailing me about it, and telling me how much it means to them.
That says to me that there really is something special about Sandbox, and that at the very least I need to do what I can to support the community.
The first step I am taking is I've created a Discord Server! I think the Discord will be a great place to discuss the future of Sandbox, and anything I can do to help you.
I have thought about moving Sandbox to another engine such as Godot or Unreal, or even seeing what kind of updates people are interested in for the current version. I think the Discord would be a great place to chat about all of that.
I'm also very interested in hearing stories about what Sandbox has meant to you, and why you like Sandbox so much. Perhaps I could even post them on the website and Discord.
It is those stories that really motivate me because I created Sandbox in order to help people. While I was teaching I just was too overwhelmed to do much with Sandbox. Now I have more free time and there is nothing I enjoy more than brightening up people's days.
Related, if you are interested, I recently did a TEDx Talk called "How To Be A Real Life Superhero". It includes stories about how I've helped my students, and how we can all be superheroes, even just by saying "hi" or holding a door open for someone.
I'm also going to be updating the front page of the site and perhaps more as well.

So is the game released or dead?
I've been testing a new engine and working on writing a lot of the concept. I know I am moving super slow which I apologize for but I also want to make sure to get things right!
This project already dead ? There hasn't been any update for 2 months already.

It been a months already. Where the update ? Not meant to be impatient,if there is no update within 3-4 month i assume the project is dead.
Not dead, just put on pause while we focus on the Dev Tools because we want to make D. as awesome of a game as it can be :)
