Chaos Ride is a series of futuristic arcade racing games, which throws out a lot of the common conventions of the genre. Braking, drifting, and cornering are all irrelevant here - the game is entirely about launching your vehicle around the tracks at insane speeds. It's also the fastest racing game ever made.

Part 2 of the futuristic mobile arcade racing series is here! Chaos Ride – Episode 2 is now available for iPhone, iPad and Android.

Chaos Ride is a series of futuristic arcade racing games, built entirely around launching your vehicle around tracks at insane speeds.

You play by driving a glowing hover-cycle along an elevated high-speed tunnel. The only way to gain momentum and win the race is to bend the laws of physics to your will by angling your hover-bike at optimal trajectories along the course, depending on which direction the tunnel takes. For example, downhill gradients will cause you to accelerate, riding up the inside wall of a bend will make you accelerate, etc. All of this is done while competing in a race against five AI vehicles.

As the second part of a three-part series, Chaos Ride – Episode 2 aims to deliver more of the features that consumers liked from Episode 1, while addressing any issues that they didn't. For example, Episode 2 features much more variety in its environments than Episode 1, as you speed along alpine mountains, dense forests, and through volcanic ash. The track design is more sympathetic to players, allowing them to see gradients and bends long before they approach them. Plus, the track design itself is more interesting, this time drawing as much inspiration from roller coasters as it does from ordinary racing. This is the episode where you can fly through corkscrews and loop-de-loops at 600mph, or barrel roll through the air over an erupting volcano.
