Carmageddon is a graphically violent vehicular combat 1997 PC video game. It was later ported to other platforms, and spawned a series of follow-up titles. It was inspired by the 1975 cult classic movie Death Race 2000. The game was produced by Stainless Games, published by Interplay and SCi.
One of the classic vehicular combat games. Ah, to be a child again, slamming into pedestrians with your car and blowing up your opponents.

The game that spawned a genre: free roaming and as violent as you might be. Also first 3D game to feature such an advanced physic engine with on-the-fly mesh deformation, built upon a superb 3D engine. Finally, just pure fun.
