Simple but awesome tower assault/defense game
Hi
When I try the demo linux32 on a linux64 bit opensuse 11.4 with Nvidia Geforce240, the screen is just black, the music is playing but no rendering.
I also have this problem. It worked fine with Mandriva 2011 but after upgrading to Rosa Fresh 2012 it stopped showing image. I have an Nvidia Geforce 9500m and am using the proprietary drivers.
Running "LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose ./BlueLibra" gives the following output:
libGL: screen 0 does not appear to be DRI2 capable
libGL: OpenDriver: trying /usr/lib/dri/swrast_dri.so
libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast
AL lib: (EE) LoadConfigFromFile: config parse error: option without a value: "(define"
AL lib: (WW) FreeDevice: (0x98a4270) Deleting 1 Buffer(s)
but running both "cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep dri2" and glxinfo give the following outputs respectively:
[ 700.873] (II) Loading sub module "dri2"
[ 700.873] (II) LoadModule: "dri2"
[ 700.873] (II) Module "dri2" already built-in
name of display: :0
display: :0 screen: 0
direct rendering: Yes
server glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
server glx version string: 1.4
so DRI is enabled.
Using the system libraries instead of the ones included with the game don't do anything to resolve this problem either, so I'm at the end of my wits. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I get the same problem with my Nvidia proprio drivers, with a laptop on integrate intel no problem though.
64bit Debian with proprietary Nvidia drivers, everything is ok.
1) Check the drivers. Make sure 32-bit libraries are installed too.
2) Run the game from a terminal and check the output.
I can't change screen resolution (Linux) which makes the game unplayable because it sees my dual monitor setup as one big monitor.
Enjoyed the game. Couple questions:
1) How do you select the Libra to move to a place when there are ships surrounding it?
2) Can you manually turn off production (100% turn off) for planets in the back corner, so that the main frontline bases are the only ones producing ships?
3) I've found that swarming the enemy with fighters is quite effective. Is there value in using other ship types?
Then again, don't bother in replying. That works too.
I'd buy this if there was a 64bit build.
Hey guys, check out the review we did for this game!
