Announcement of supported modes & customization

Being working hard on Belfry Brawl, my Super Smash Bros/Towerfall like brawler, I wanted to share some of the modes, features and customization options i am implementing.

Before each match you have the option to configure the match to your liking. Currently I'm trying to make the game as complete as possible in the modes & features area.
The pre-match screen looks like this:

As you can see the current game has 1 player which has joined of a total of 8 possible player slots.
Each player can pick a color for his or herself. The current colors need a little tweaking so expect them to change in the future.

Modes

Lets start with the game modes. Currently i have 3 modes planned:
- Stock Match
- Timed Match
- Target Match

You can switch modes by pressing the Mode button shown below:

Pressing on the left of the image goes back a mode, pressing on the right goes forward.

--Stock Match--
This should be a well known game type for all smashers. You start the match with X lives and whoever survives is the winner.

You can select the amount of starting lives with the - and + buttons next to the mode button:

--Timed Match--
In a timed match you race against other players to get the most kills before the time reaches zero. The player with the most kills wins.

You can select the duration of the match with the - and + buttons next to the mode button:

--Target Match--
Finally there is Target mode. In this mode the first player to reach X kills wins!

You can select the amount of kills needed with the - and + buttons next to the mode button:

--Team & FFA--
All the above match types can be played in Free for all or Team mode. So you can have at everyone or team up.
Free for all:

Team mode:

Please not that team mode has a different color selection. By choosing a color you can select your team!.

--Fireball modes--
Finally there is the Fireball configuration. From what i've seen in test matches, some people like to spam fireballs. Which is a valid tactic, but sometimes you don't feel like allowing that.
For those case you can set fireballs to unlimited (default) or to limited (a max of 7).

Unlimited mode:

Limited mode:

In limited mode you have a maximum of 7 fireballs at the ready. And every X seconds you will regenerate a fireball.
This limits spamming and encourages tactfull firing. Numbers might still be tweaked.

When you are running a limited fireball mode you will find fireballs in the ingame UI like this:

in endless mode it will look like this:
