In the 1950s, the American cognitive psychologist George Miller carried out a famous experiment in the history of brain science. Miller, interested in the capacity of the human brain’s working memory, set out to measure it. Miller’s striking conclusion was that the capacity of short-term memory cannot be defined by the amount of information it contains. Instead Miller concluded that the working memory stores information in the form of “chunks” and that it could hold approximately seven of them. Those "chunks" are theorized to be any abstract form of information. 16 Partitions is a challenging game based on this information. A pattern of rectangular blocks will be flashed for an amount of time (less time in hard mode!). You will need to recreate the pattern to advance. Controls are intuitive as you swipe a block to divide it in half either horizontally or vertically.
