Filled with the Christmas spirit, we here at WiMi5 are launching a game contest called “Create Your Own Local Christmas Game”. Check out the instructions below.

Many places around the world are celebrating the end of the year and the arrival of the new one with local characters and customs. Some world-famous characters and customs have eclipsed the wide variety that exists in many other cultures.

Good characters and bad, mythical and magical ones, pagan and religious customs, there are all sorts of ways to celebrate the winter solstice. Just a few examples of these characters are Krampus, Belsnickel, the Olentzero, Amaterasu, Esteru, or even just the Three Wise Men.

There are also an infinity of examples of celebrations around this time, both old or recently invented, including the Yuletide, Kwanzaa, Hogmanay, or Inti Raymi.

So, with this contest, we want to encourage you to create a Christmas game using your favorite local character or custom. And of course, we also welcome Santa Claus and Christmas trees!
