It's originally done in xna 3.1 and C#.

It's a commercial game but, with the devs blessing, we have the source. As long as we don't do anything stupid there should be no issues.
4x rts. Lots of bad rep and lots of potential.
We have already spent 2 years working in it. It's fully functional we are just trying to squish bugs, improve game play, and add interesting features.
Come and go as you please.

We don't have assets though. To help you basically have to have the game. Although there are other ways to help. Code review would help. Tricks. Advice. Suggestions. All of that is welcome. Bitbucket.org One more thing... You don't have to know a lot about coding. C# isn't hard. I had to Google everything when I started. But I learned how to multi thread... Sort of, resources to help like .net perls and stack exchange, and a bunch of stuff. There are easy projects and advanced projects. Would like to port the whole thing to unity. Add multiplayer. Improve memory usage. Add more ui stuff. Test.
